I have been doing a bit of house cleaning lately. The site is now redesigned. I may add a thing or two… but I wanted a cleaner feel to it. I also want to add a bit more emphasis on my portfolio, which I will be adding more screenshots of.

As a side note, I am in the process of starting an online poetry workshop. This will be completely free to join. The idea behind it is mutual critique of each member’s poetry. It is designed to be a six-week workshop with one prompt a week. After the prompt is given, each member will have about three to four days to write a poem based on the prompt and post it to the workshop. The three days following will consist of reading, digesting, and critiquing everyone else’s poetry. This will go on for six weeks. During the six weeks I hope that everyone will have enough of an opportunity to put together a small collection of poetry to present as an ebook or e-chapbook. I will then host the ebooks for free. I may add a small zine featuring everyone’s best poem at the end of the workshop.

Some of the details are still to be decided upon, but this is the idea. The site is not ready to go yet, but please go and sign up for the mailing list/RSS feed for updates on when it is ready to go. The workshop will be called Sentient Writing.

With that I plan to devote this web site to mostly web design-related topics and my web portfolio. I will be moving my writing tips and information to Sentient Writing. I hope that you will enjoy both sites. The concept behind Fragmentist is to find connections in various aspects of the world, so I am certain that topics (of any nature) can never be fully separated.
